Pottery

My partner, EJ Duplessis, and I conduced an interview with a pottery instructor. These are a few pictures we took to go along with our audio.

Healthy Dessert

This was a dessert shot I took with my d90. I had a large soft box on the back right side of the food and a fill card on the opposite side. Food photography is an art in it's self.

Cat Face

This was shot with my d90 and a zoom lens using only sunlight. This is one playful cat! Trying to photograph animals is not the easiest but it teaches you to be ready for what is next.

The Virtuoso

This is three photos put together in photoshop. The background was made to look like a canvas painting and a shadow was added between the painter and the painting to make it look more realistic.

Life As A Marble

This was shot in studio with a soft-box and fill card. I used a D300 Nikon with a macro lens.

Smoking Candle

This was shot in studio with a green gel in the back and a back light on the candle with a fill card in front.

Mountain Flowers

This photo was taken in the Virginia mountains with a D90 camera.
